GAME OF BETRAYAL
We are living in a time where economy stability and financial settlement of the civil servants is a great matter of concern to many countries in Africa exception of Nigeria. In Nigeria its so terrible to know that the government and the private organization treat their workers like slaves and unskilled labourers. The government and private sectors are like a legion that kills it wounded soldiers. An average retiree in Nigeria is like a beggar before his former employer. His pension and gratuity have not been paid but no one cares about that. So retire die quickly after retirement because they hope to fall back on what the government will pay and the government or their former employer refuse to pay them. Look. My father died since the year 2011 but I have not been able to receive his gratuity because the government refuses to pay till today. But the menace worse than the empty dependence on government is the way these civil servants have decided to either stay glued to their poor paying jobs than create a an extra job or stream of income. No wonder, today these workers are broke as civil servant. Before, the 20th of every new month, an average Nigerian civil servant has blown his salary of last month This means that our employment terrain needs a brain surgery! It is also a pointer to the fact that your salary will never be enough unless you will have to steal from the government or company. You can quote me anywhere, any certificate that cannot empower you to produce things and be a job creator, but you have to depend on government for job should be thrown to the gutter. A good habit of diligence at work should be rewarded but that is the last thing you can expect from a Nigerian boss. In fact in most of the government establishments, the most serious workers are the ones been victimize by their bosses. While the ghost workers that appear in work places once or twice a week are left alone to enjoy and wait for salary to drop. If you think that the millionaires or the billionaires you see made it through receiving salary, you lied. If they made it by collecting salary alone, then that man do not want to tell you that he has been stealing from his office. Wake up before it is too late or you will never be able to build your house before retirement.
